Jordan Thompson

Birthdate:03 Jan 1997
Joined United:01 Jul 2013

A Northern Ireland Schoolboy international who represented his country in the Victory Shield.

After initially coming over to Manchester as a midfielder, he is now viewed as a left-back. Very comfortable in possession, he is an elegant player who is easy on the eye with his style.

Predominantly left-footed, he looks set to compete for a place in the side and scored a cracking volley during the friendly in Slovakia with MFK Ruzomberok.

By making 13 starts in 2013/2014, plus another five as substitute, he can be pleased with his efforts and scored his first goal with a penalty against Reading. The teenager can build on a promising first year with Paul McGuinness' side and looks capable of becoming a regular with his versatility proving useful.
