A composed centre-back who broke into the Academy side towards the end of the 2010/2011 campaign.

Clearly a defender with potential, the Manchester-born youngster has been with United since 2002 but he was unable to dislodge the likes of regulars Tyler Blackett and Luke McCullough from the back four in 2011/2012.

Nonetheless, he made nine appearances (three as substitute) and was a valuable member of the squad - able to fill in either in the middle or at full-back.

With both Blackett and McCullough ineligible next season, he'll probably compete with Nicholas

Ioannou and Declan Dalley for places again next term.
