Tour Treasure winner thrilled

Those of you who followed our coverage of the team's pre-season tour of America will no doubt have spotted our Tour Treasure competition.

Each day during our three-week stay in the States the players donated a unique signed item to our Tour Treasure chest which was overflowing with fantastic prizes by the end of the trip.

We had everything from Rio Ferdinand's signed tour pyjamas, a Harvard scarf featuring Wayne Rooney's autograph and a training cone with signatures from Giggs, Berbatov, Carrick, Park, Macheda and Amos. And there was plenty more besides.

The lucky winner of the treasure chest, drawn at random, is lifelong Red Brett Roberts from Melbourne in Australia who was over the moon to scoop this unique prize.

"I'd seen the competition on the website and thought I'd chance my luck and enter. When I got the call to say I'd won I thought it was a joke!" said Brett who first visited Old Trafford in December 2004.

"I've never won a competition in my life so I was absolutely delighted. There are some fantastic prizes in there which are totally unique and very valuable.

"Being so far away from the club means it's extra special to get something like this."
