State of play: After a week’s training at Carrington, United embark on the three-game European leg of the DHL 2012 pre-season tour with a friendly at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadium against a Valerenga side who are already halfway through their league season (they’re sixth in the Norwegian top-flight table).
Ins and outs: United’s Euro 2012 representatives have returned to training and, with less than three weeks until the start of the league season, Sir Alex has confirmed he’ll play his strongest available side in Norway, so expect to see the likes of Wayne Rooney, Nani, Danny Welbeck and Patrice Evra.
