Gallery: Day one in Durban

The first day of United’s DHL pre-season tour in South Africa was a busy one for Sir Alex Ferguson and his players.

First up was an early press conference, where the boss and Rio Ferdinand discussed (among other things) Wednesday’s MTN Football Invitational against AmaZulu FC.

Also on the players' agenda were various commercial appearances and two training sessions at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, the second of which took place in the evening and was open to the Durban public.
