Gallery: Asia Tour 2005

Manchester United returned to Asia in the summer of 2005 to prepare for the campaign ahead and introduce two new signings in Ji-sung Park and Edwin van der Sar.

As well as playing four matches in Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo (two games), Sir Alex and his players spent time meeting fans and taking in some of the local sights.

Aside from a number of community visits involving charity partner UNICEF, the squad were also given a tour of the famous Forbidden City.
