England striker Danny Welbeck is keen to embark on Tour 2013 presented by Aon, a pre-season trip that takes the Reds to Thailand, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Sweden.
Here, he answers some quickfire questions on his previous pre-season experiences...
-Most memorable tour
America in 2010.
-Favourite city visited
-Stand-out tour game
I enjoyed all the games on the 2010 Tour – I couldn’t pick one out.
-Most memorable reception from fans
I’d probably say when we were in Yokohama for the Club World Cup [in 2008] – the reaction we had there was amazing.
-Favourite sight-seeing trip
Definitely visiting The White House.
The ones we used in Philadelphia.
-Toughest thing about tours
Acclimatising and getting into a proper sleeping pattern.
-Most enjoyable thing about tours
Just spending time with the lads.
I’ve roomed with Clevz [Tom Cleverley] from being a young kid so I’d probably say him.
