Dwight Yorke believes Saturday's friendly with the Foxtel A-League All Stars will prove to be a beneficial work-out for David Moyes' men.
The Reds have spent the last week working on fitness in Sydney ahead of Saturday's clash at the ANZ Stadium and Yorke, who spent time as a player with Sydney FC, is expecting the Aussies to put up a decent fight.
"It will be a good team from the A League – they will have good quality," he told ManUtd.com. "They have selected the top players in the league and that gives them a better chance in terms of competing with the players. We know this is work in progress for the lads, but it'll definitely be a good run-out.
"Of course, the quality of football over here isn't the same as the Premier League, but it's a sport that is growing all the time. Playing in Sydney was a great experience for me. It's a great place to be and I thoroughly enjoyed my time out here."
