Primary School Workshops

Primary School Workshops

Our education programme for Primary School students is fully integrated with the National Curriculum and New Frameworks. The interactive educational workshops have been developed around the history of our world famous football club and are conducted in our award winning Museum.

The unique programme incorporates a visit to our Museum and a behind-the-scenes stadium tour. The workshops available link in with the National Curriculum.

With advanced notice, we can and are happy to formulate a programme for almost any subject area.

A typical session involves a tour of Old Trafford, two interactive education sessions and time for individual learning within the Museum.

A minimum of four follow-up lesson plans, which are fully integrated with the National Curriculum and the New Frameworks are also provided to teachers for continued learning back at school following the visit to the “Theatre of Dreams”.

The programmes have been written by our Museum & Tour Curriculum Manager, Laura Flint QTS and involve a variety of activities designed to provide a stimulus for learning. Click here to see a sample programme.
