AT THE THEATRE OF DREAMS
Christmas comes but once a year, so treat your family to a unique day out during the festive holidays. The Manchester United Museum & Stadium tour more than fits the bill. It takes you on a journey of discovery behind the scenes of this great club.
You can soak up the special atmosphere of the players’ dressing room, sit in your favourite player’s seat, and even emerge, like your heroes, from the legendary tunnel to take a seat in the dugout. Fred the Red will be around to meet the little ones, and it all starts from as little as £12 per person.
There will be a range of seasonal activities for children to enjoy between now and the end of December. Youngsters can make their own personalised Christmas cards, giving them a distinctive United theme. There are two trails for kids to follow inside the museum, allowing them to learn about the history of the Reds in a fun way: for four to seven year-olds, and those eight-years and older. Children will be given a series of fact finding missions and can then seek out the answers inside the Museum – a fun way to learn about the Reds.
United’s history is also brought to life in other ways. Not only do you get to see artefacts up close but you can get to handle selected boots, balls and other items, too. Kids can also try players’ shirts for size.
