To commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, Manchester United’s Museum unveils a special ‘United at War’ exhibition. The exhibition details how Manchester United as a club, together with players, staff, and of course supporters, were all shaped by the effects of both the First and Second World Wars.
Included in the exhibition is Sandy Turnbull’s 1909 FA Cup final shirt, part of the landmine that damaged Old Trafford in December 1940 plus sporting medals and awards won by Ray Wood, Eddie Colman and Roger Byrne whilst undertaking their National Service. It’s a must-see! Book your visit today.
