The roar of the crowd as you edge closer to the pitch, the tunnel is where it hits you - you're about to play for the Reds at Old Trafford. "When you walk towards the pitch you're really focused," says Reds skipper Gary Neville.
"The adrenaline is flowing and there's a real buzz."
The teams have been running out of this tunnel since 1993. Before that they used the old players' tunnel, situated between the home and away dug-outs. At the front is an extendable cover, which protects the players as they enter the pitch. Inside the managers and players conduct their post-match interviews.
The roof of the tunnel can be hydraulically lifted as high as 25 feet to allow large vehicles through the tunnel area.
