Jonny Evans recalls childhood United memories and the impact of 1999
Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is the latest guest on the UTD Podcast, out on Tuesday 20 February.
From coming through our Academy to winning the Premier League and the Champions League with the Reds, and then returning last summer after eight years away, Jonny has many memories from his time at the club to recall and does so across the must-listen episode.
Evans, 36, grew up in Belfast but always had a love for United, the club he would go on to sign for in 2004.
In his UTD Podcast, Jonny says he was a "Manchester United fanatic" from a young age, with one key year - 1999, of course - standing out as one that will be etched in his memory forever.

"And maybe a bit before that, like '96. But when I really got engrossed was that '99 season when everything kind of took off.
"[I was] 10 [or] 11. I went down to my auntie's house to watch the match [The 1999 Champions League final] and my dad was at the pub with his mates watching the game. I can remember as soon as the final whistle went, everyone is on the street kicking the ball pretending to be this player or that player.
"I remember my dad came and woke me up in the middle of the night.
"He had obviously had a few drinks and he was like 'is that not the best night of your life?' I always remember him saying that. And it was, at that time. Being a Manchester United fan and witnessing that."
Little did 11-year-old Jonny know that he would go on to play for the very club he cheered that night, and win the Premier League and Champions League himself, as well as a host of other honours.
