Reds train before Galatasaray clash

The Manchester United squad trained in front of the media at Carrington on Tuesday morning, ahead of the afternoon flight to Turkey.

A key UEFA Champions League clash with Galatasaray at RAMS Park awaits, with United needing some form of result to remain in this season's competition.

The Reds will have been boosted by Sunday's 3-0 win at Everton but three defeats from four in Group A so far have left us with work to do against the Turkish champions on Wednesday, with the game kicking off at 17:45 GMT.

There was some good news, as Antony and Rasmus Hojlund were among the group appearing before the cameras.

Both players missed the trip to Merseyside at the weekend, as Antony was ruled out after suffering a knock in training.

Hojlund, who is joint-top scorer in the Champions League in 2023/24, with five goals, was still sidelined after suffering a muscle problem against Luton Town prior to the international break.

Erik ten Hag will appear at his press conference at midday, alongside captain Bruno Fernandes, and could provide a further update on the pair.

Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, who both impressed against the Toffees, were also spotted at training, as was Marcus Rashford, who cannot play on Wednesday due to suspension.

Luke Shaw was there too and the England international could be involved in Europe for the first time this season, following his return from a three-month lay-off.
