How United Women reacted to our semi-final win

"We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wembley!"

That chant echoed around Leigh Sports Village on Sunday after Marc Skinner's Manchester United Women defeated Chelsea 2-1 - the first time we have beaten the Blues in our history - to reach the final of the Adobe Women's FA Cup for the second consecutive season.

Lucia Garcia and Rachel Williams set the Reds on the way to Wembley with superb first-half finishes and the resilient performance that Mary Earps and the United defence produced in the second 45 minutes was nothing short of superb.

Dressing room celebrations

United Women were buzzing after reaching the FA Cup final - you'll love these scenes from in the dressing room...

Following the historic victory, and our side's lap of honour where they applauded the United faithful in the stands at LSV, celebrations continued into the changing room and then onto social media too.

"KAMMMMMOOONNNNNN" wrote Millie Turner on X, with Aoife Mannion simply stating, "WOW."

Turner was quick to appreciate the performance of her keeper, who made a physics-defying stop to thwart former United winger Lauren James when her header looked certain to be finding the net.

"MARY EARPS 👏🏼," posted Millie.

Assistant manager Charlotte Healy also shared her joy, writing: "SEE YOU BACK AT WEMBLEY REDS!! A performance that took everything from every player! Could not be prouder of this team! Enjoy your night Reds."

Scroll down to see more social reaction from our players, who rightly basked in the glory of reaching the final of the historic competition for a second year running, and eliminating the side who beat us at in last year's final in the process.
