Ahead of our Premier League outing against Brentford before the international break, we caught up with Team GB Olympic sprinter and lifelong Red, Imani-Lara Lansiquot.

Imani-Lara represented Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, taking part in the 4 x 100m relay, and has competed in several other competitions such as the World Championships, European Championships and the Commonwealth Games, taking gold in the latter two events.
A first visit to Old Trafford = all smiles.

In what was her visit to the Theatre of Dreams, Imani-Lara explained in an interview with club media presenter Neha Navekar that visiting the hallowed turf was a dream come true.

“I’ve been dreaming about being here, and walking through [the stadium] was like all of my dreams coming true. It’s completely surreal and even better than I imagined!”

The game of course finished in dramatic fashion, with Scott McTominay scoring a brace in the final moments of the game, helping United to claim all three points.

While an Olympic athlete was in attendance at Old Trafford, the club’s media team thought it would be appropriate to find out who Imani-Lara thought would be best suited to a number of different Olympic sports, such as running, javelin, shot put and swimming.

You can find out who she picked for the different sports in the video below.
