Ole reveals team news for Wolves trip

Manchester United finish the Premier League season with a trip to Wolves on Sunday (16:00 BST kick-off).

The Reds are aiming to end the entire league campaign unbeaten away from home for the first time in our history but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side also have the chance of silverware on the horizon, with second place in the table already secured.

Villarreal provide the opposition in the Europa League final next Wednesday night, in Gdansk.

There is good news regarding Daniel James as the Wales winger is set to feature following his recent absence. However, the game has come too soon for Anthony Martial, who had hoped to return from a knee injury.

Captain Harry Maguire remains sidelined and the chances of him appearing in the final would seem to be getting slimmer.

Some of our younger players may get an opportunity to impress but the manager has plenty of options to consider as both Fred and Scott McTominay are available despite sustaining knocks against Fulham in midweek.

"Dan will be involved," Ole told MUTV's Mark Sullivan at the Aon Training Complex. "Unfortunately, Anthony won't make this one for the squad so Harry and Anthony are still working hard to be available for the final. Of course, they've been out for a long time.

“We’re recovering with him [Harry] and resting with him. He’s not at the stage where he can work hard yet. He’s walking on it now but still it’s a long way from walking to playing football."

At his press conference, the boss added on Maguire: “To be honest, I don't think we'll see him in Gdansk, no, but as I’ve said so many times, I’m going to give him until Tuesday night, the last training session, to see if he can try to be out there. Steadily but surely, he’s improving but ligaments take time to heal.”

WOLVES TEAM NEWS

Coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been shuffling his pack as the season draws to a close. He had hoped Raul Jimenez could feature after his lengthy lay-off, following a fractured skull, but the striker definitely misses out, along with Pedro Neto, Jonny Otto and Daniel Podence.

Owen Otasowie is also unavailable for the home side, who get to play in front of 10,000 of their fans at Molineux, as Nuno has said he has the same squad that was selected for the midweek loss to Everton.

Nuno has revealed it will be his final game in charge after four full seasons at the helm.
