Tour 2025
May: United in Asia
28 May: v ASEAN All Stars (Kuala Lumpur) - 8.45pm local time
United’s post-season tour, arranged by ProEvents, will get under way against ASEAN All Stars in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. There, the 84,000-capacity Bukit Jalil National Stadium will be the venue for our first game in the city since 2009. The arena was initially built to host the 1998 Commonwealth Games and has since become the national home of Malaysian football.
30 May: v Hong Kong, China (Hong Kong) - 8pm local time
The second of our May matches will see us face Hong Kong, China, at the Hong Kong Stadium. The ground, residing in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island, can seat up to 40,000 fans and will host United's first outing in the region since 2013. While staging most of Hong Kong's international football matches, rugby fixtures have also regularly been played at the stadium over the years.
July: United in Sweden
19 July: v Leeds (Stockholm) - 3pm local time
After a summer break for Ruben's Reds, preparations for 2025/26 will really kick into gear with our first pre-season test in Stockholm. Old foes and newly promoted Premier League outfit Leeds are the opponents, with rivalries set to be renewed at the recently renamed Strawberry Arena. Formerly known as the Friends Arena, it's where we lifted the Europa League in 2017 after beating Ajax in the final.
July - Aug: United in the USA
26 July: v West Ham (New Jersey) - 7pm local time
Our Summer Series opener sees us head back to the USA and New Jersey, where we faced Arsenal in front of more than 82,000 supporters during Tour 2023. This time, we'll take on another London opponent in the form of West Ham United, at MetLife Stadium. As well as being home to New York's two NFL teams - the Giants and the Jets - the arena is also set to host next year's FIFA World Cup final.
30 July: v Bournemouth (Chicago) - 8.30pm local time
Stateside game two will be a meeting with Bournemouth at the iconic Soldier Field in Chicago. The stadium holds just over 62,000 fans at full capacity and is currently 100 years old, having first opened in October 1924. United's visit in July will mark our return to The Windy City for the first time since pre-season 2015.
3 August: v Everton (Atlanta) - 5pm local time
Our final stop on Tour 2025 will be Atlanta, for an all-North-West affair with David Moyes's Everton at the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The game will be our first-ever in the state of Georgia's most populous city and will therefore be a maiden United outing at the aforementioned arena, which opened in 2017 and features a retractable roof as part of its stunning architecture.
