Manchester United players have been hard at work in the sunshine at the Aon Training Complex, as attention turns towards the trip to Leeds on Sunday.

The Reds have won each of our last five games in all competitions since the international break, including Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Burnley, secured through late goals from Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani.

That Old Trafford success means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side have been able to enjoy our first midweek off all season, with maximum time to prepare for the challenge of facing the Whites, who drew 1-1 with Liverpool on Monday night.

Solskjaer was provided with a further boost on Monday, as Eric Bailly is now back in training after recovering from his COVID-19 diagnosis.

The Ivorian has posted on Instagram, after his recent COVID-related absence.

The Ivorian has played 15 times this season and is available once again for the run-in, having last appeared for the Reds over a month ago, in the Europa League home tie against AC Milan.

However, United are still set to be without Anthony Martial and Phil Jones, who didn’t train with the rest of the squad on Thursday.

Martial hasn’t featured since injuring his knee while away with France in March, while Jones is still recovering from the knee issue which has kept him out all season.

The Reds’ first-teamers were joined by youngsters Hannibal and Anthony Elanga during Thursday’s session.

Elanga was an unused substitute for the two Europa League quarter-final legs with Granada, while 18-year-old Hannibal is yet to feature in a matchday squad for the Reds.

LEEDS TEAM NEWS

The Whites will definitely be without captain and centre-back Liam Cooper. The Scotland international, who has featured 22 times for Leeds this season, is serving the second of a three-match suspension after being shown a red for a dangerous challenge during the recent win over Manchester City.

There are doubts about forwards Rodrigo and Raphinha as they sat out Monday’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool with muscle complaints.

The Whites selected the following side against the outgoing champions: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Struijk, Alioski (Klich); Phillips, Helder Costa (Poveda); Dallas, Roberts (Hernandez), Harrison; Bamford.
