Everyone at the club wishes Fran the best of luck for the season.

Fran Bentley said:

“To sign a new deal at the club is always a proud moment. I have spent many years here, both in my youth career and now as part of the first team, and it has always felt like home.

"I’m grateful for the belief the coaches have had in me from the start. I’m still young and have been constantly learning and improving with the help of the staff and team. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey so far, from my family, to the team, and the fans.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my development this season whilst on loan with Bristol, they have a great group of players and staff who will be looking to get back into the WSL quickly and I’m excited to be a part of that.”

Football Director, John Murtough, said:

“Still only 20 years old and with a long career ahead of her, Fran is a fantastic young talent to have at Manchester United. The goalkeeping department is always fiercely competitive, and it’s been great to see her develop over the last few years.

"We see great potential in Fran and we are pleased to have also secured her a loan move ahead of the new season, giving her invaluable experience and playing time to aid her development.”
