Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his Manchester United team to face West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford.

The Reds boss has made two changes to the side that defeated Everton at Goodison Park a fortnight ago before the international break, with Alex Telles replacing the injured Luke Shaw at left-back for his league and Old Trafford debut.

The second change is in midfield as Nemanja Matic comes in for Scott McTominay, who is named on the bench.

The boss has told club media why Paul Pogba is not in the squad to face West Brom...

Speaking to club media about his team selection, Ole revealed Paul Pogba misses the match with an ankle injury sustained during France's match against Sweden last week.

"Paul got a knock in the last game and he started feeling it yesterday after the session. Well he felt it before the session but he couldn’t carry on. Hopefully he’ll be okay for Tuesday."

Ole also discussed a Premier League debut for Telles, saying: "He’s been raring to go for a long time. Of course he started really well when he played against PSG and after that unfortunately he got the virus and he’s been on and off since then and away with Brazil. Now he’s ready to go.

"He's a great character and has a good personality and of course we’ve seen the quality of some of his crossing and passing.

"We can’t have any excuses," added the manager when asked further about his starting XI. "Because if you look at the team that is starting it’s more or less the same as the Everton one. Of course Luke is injured and Nemanja is in for Scott. Scott has been all over the world – Serbia, Slovakia, Israel… so that was the sensible thing to do with him.

"We should have energy as well because most of our players played on Tuesday, Harry played on Wednesday so we should be okay."
