Lucy Staniforth signs contract extension
Manchester United Women can confirm that midfielder Lucy Staniforth has signed a contract extension with the club until the end of the current 2022/23 season.
The England international joined United in 2020 following two years with Birmingham City Women and made her competitive debut in our 3-0 home league win over Brighton and Hove Albion in October that same season.
Lucy has gone on to make 34 appearances in all competitions as a Red, scoring three goals in the process.

Staniforth said: “I’m really grateful to be given this opportunity and want to make sure I hit the ground running this season and contribute as much as I can.
"I feel great in myself and I’m really looking forward to the new campaign.”
