#MUFCMundial: Australia

Monday 02 July 2018 13:46

Australia may have been knocked out of the 2018 World Cup in the group stage, but Manchester United fan Cameron Fraser is still a proud follower of the Socceroos.

Cameron, who is the latest representative in our #MUFCMundial series, has also tipped England to be dark horses in the knockout phase in Russia…

Which country are you representing and why?
Australia. I love the country, the weather and the culture! Football is on the rise here! I would have loved to see Australia make the round of 16 but unfortunately it wasn’t to be!

Australian fan Cameron Fraser follows United from the other side of the world!

How would you sum up your feelings about the World Cup using emojis only?
🏠

Which United star do you think will shine brightest during the World Cup?
If I had to pick one, I’d go with Jesse Lingard because of THAT goal against Panama and I think England might get to the final!

Cameron is backing Jesse Lingard and England to go all the way to the final on 15 July.

Have you ever been to Old Trafford?
Yes, I used to live in Manchester and I would love to go back for a game!

Which player from your national team would you love to see in a United shirt?
Aaron Mooy could do a job for us!

Australia were knocked out after finishing bottom of Group C, which also included France, Denmark and Peru.

GET INVOLVED!

As the World Cup continues, we are looking for a United fan to represent each of the 32 nations competing in Russia.

If you would like to get involved, send an email to MUFCMundial@manutd.co.uk with your country in the subject line but please note, we may not be able to respond to every message we receive. Thank you.
