Four February fixture changes for United

Monday 17 December 2018 17:00

The dates for Manchester United's four Premier League fixtures in February 2019 have been rearranged, with three chosen for live television coverage in the UK.

In its latest round of amendments, the Premier League has confirmed that United’s game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium will now be played on Sunday 3 February. It will kick off at 14:05 GMT and will be screened live on Sky Sports.

The Reds are on the road again a week later when travelling to the capital to face Fulham on Saturday 9 February. Our first match at Craven Cottage since 2013 will also be shown live on Sky Sports and will now kick off at 12:30 GMT.

The Reds will play at Craven Cottage for the first time in five years in a Saturday lunchtime kick-off.

Unsurprisingly, the visit of arch-rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford has also been selected for live TV and has been moved to Sunday 24 February. Like the Leicester match, it will also kick off at 14:05 GMT and be shown on Sky Sports.

The month ends for United with another trip to London to take on Crystal Palace. Given our match against Liverpool will now be played on the preceding Sunday, the match at Selhurst Park has been pushed back from Tuesday 26 to Wednesday 27 February but hasn’t been picked for live TV coverage. The game will still kick off at 20:00 GMT.

In addition to the Premier League commitments, the Reds will face Paris St-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday 12 February and could have a potential Emirates FA Cup fifth-round tie to play later in the month.
