Reds report back at Carrington

Monday 27 June 2022 14:00

Manchester United's players have started to report back for pre-season training at our Carrington base.

There will be a staggered return due to the individuals' various commitments for their countries but the countdown has started to travelling out for Tour 2022 on 8 July.

For those already back, there is an opportunity to meet Erik ten Hag as the new boss gets to work in the job and starts to make his mark.

We pictured the likes of David De Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Brandon Williams, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial, among others, as they made their way through the doors of the training complex.

Individual testing took place before a planned coming together as a group for the first time since the manager took charge of the side.

United's pre-season campaign kicks off against Liverpool in Bangkok on 12 July.

The Reds will then face Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa in Australia, before a date with Atletico Madrid in Oslo on 30 July. The following day, we welcome Rayo Vallecano to Old Trafford for our final friendly.

Every tour game will also be shown live on MUTV*, and fans can follow all things pre-season, including team news, exclusive content, matchday build-up and more, on the Manchester United App.

*MUTV live coverage not available in Thailand and Australia due to domestic broadcast rights.
