Liverpool and Villa fixture dates confirmed

Wednesday 21 April 2021 15:00

The dates and times of Manchester United's first two Premier League fixtures in May have been confirmed.

The Reds have a mouthwatering home clash with arch-rivals Liverpool to negotiate in Gameweek 34, while an away trip to Aston Villa is scheduled the following weekend.

Of course, United will have the second leg of our Europa League semi-final with Roma to negotiate in between those two domestic games.

The Reds will start the month by welcoming Jurgen Klopp's side to Old Trafford on Sunday 2 May, with kick-off at 16:30 BST.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and United will be looking to complete a league-cup home double over the Merseysiders, having knocked them out of the Emirates FA Cup in January.

Villa Park is a ground that holds plenty of fond memories for us in the Premier League era and we return on Sunday 9 May, taking on Aston Villa at 14:05 BST. That meeting is also to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

United's remaining three Premier League fixtures, against Leicester (H), Fulham (H) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (A) are yet to be rubberstamped, although we do know that the Premier League's final-day fixtures will be played simultaneously on Sunday 23 May.
