What Sir Alex Ferguson has said about Rashford
Manchester United's legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson has talked to Marcus Rashford about the striker's remarkable efforts to tackle child poverty.
Sir Alex is, understandably, very supportive of our no.10's crusade and has pledged, along with friend Sir Michael Moritz, to double all donations made to The Times newspaper's food charity as part of their Christmas appeal.
Both men spoke to The Times and Sunday Times as the newspapers' appeal is backing the FareShare food charity as one of its special causes.

"Footballers in Britain are certainly high profile," Sir Alex said. "There’s no reason why they can’t use that profile in a good way.
“What Marcus has done is he’s led the way in a big way that, hopefully, people from the same position that Marcus is in today, as a successful footballer, can join in and support this great campaign of the moment."
When asked what advice he would give Marcus, who was coming through the youth ranks during the Scot's time at the Old Trafford helm, Sir Alex replied: "I think he should be giving me some advice because what he’s doing at 23 years of age, is fantastic for a young person.
“I’ve no need to tell Marcus because I think there’s humility in the way he lives his life, his feet are on the ground. These are great qualities to carry you through life, there's no question about that.
“And the football hasn't changed him. There's a danger in football that it can change people. Money can change people. Stardom can change people. Getting to a position in life sometimes can be a problem because not everyone can carry success but, at the moment, Marcus is doing that very, very well."
