Special-edition TAG Heuer display at Megastore

On Thursday 9 August, as part of a brand new TAG Heuer display, two special-edition player watches will be available in the Old Trafford Megastore.

Watches worn by left-back Ashley Young and fellow defender Matteo Darmian will be displayed in store and fans will be able to take their connected watch home with them in a special box signed by the players.

The limited-edition timepieces were one of 11 worn by Manchester United’s first team during the pre-match line-up before the final game of the Premier League season in May and were created by TAG Heuer in support of the club’s #allredallequal campaign.

Watches worn by Michael Carrick, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Daley Blind have already been auctioned, with all four pieces raising a total of $29,000. The money raised from the sale will be donated to Manchester United Foundation, for its work with young people across the most socially deprived areas of Greater Manchester.

The watch itself is a TAG Heuer Connected 45 Modular smart watch which has many dials, faces and straps to make it as unique as you. The Connected Modular collection is powered by Wear OS and created in collaboration with Intel. You can find out more about the watch here.

Both Ashley and Matteo’s watches are now available to purchase with reserve prices on them. If you wish to buy these and, in turn, donate to the Manchester United Foundation, please speak to a member of the Megastore team whilst in store.

Watches launched in Miami while United were on tour, will also be displayed as part of this brand new display area in the Megastore. The TAG Heuer Manchester United Edition Carrera H01 43mm which retails at £4,600 and TAG Heuer Manchester United Edition Formula 1 Chronograph 43mm retails at £1,250.
