Fosu-Mensah to return to United after surgery

Manchester United can confirm that Tim Fosu-Mensah will return to the club for rehabilitation after undergoing knee ligament surgery.

This is following an assessment of the injury that the 21-year-old defender sustained while playing for his loan club Fulham, in their 2-0 win over Everton at Craven Cottage last weekend.

Fosu-Mensah was involved for the Reds during Tour 2018 in the United States.

The Dutchman has made 13 appearances this season in all competitions for the Cottagers, who have been relegated to the Championship after just one season back in the top flight.

He also spent last season in the Premier League on loan at Crystal Palace, for whom he played 24 times.

Everyone at the club wishes Tim well with his recovery.
