Friday 05 February 2021 15:07

Manchester United's Under-18 Premier League clash at Sunderland on Saturday has been postponed.

The young Reds were due to play in front of the MUTV cameras in the north-east but a forecast of heavy snow in the area has led to the game being called off in advance.

It will now be played on Tuesday 27 April, at 13:00.

Ole confirms another game for Amad

United's exciting young winger will feature in front of the MUTV cameras again this evening.

The programme in 2021 has been disrupted for Neil Ryan's side as the FA Youth Cup competition was placed on hold while the latest national lockdown continues.

The boys did secure a late 4-3 win at Blackburn Rovers and suffered a rare defeat, to Burnley, last weekend, and they will now look to get back on track with a mini-derby against Manchester City next Saturday (13 February).

The Under-23s are in action, though, on Friday night with a home game against Premier League 2 leaders Blackburn.

The Leigh Sports Village encounter is live on MUTV, with Amad Diallo appearing again for Neil Wood's side after his debut in the 6-3 win over Liverpool.
