Vote for United's Goal of the Month

Monday 04 November 2019 16:00

There are 10 superb strikes to choose from, when casting your vote for Manchester United's October 2019 Goal of the Month.

As usual, the shortlist features efforts from our women's team and Academy sides as well as the first team, which this time contributes three contenders.

Marcus Rashford’s sublime free-kick in the Carabao Cup clash with Chelsea is among them, as is his classy finish against Norwich City.

Anthony Martial also netted in that win at Carrow Road and his chip over Tim Krul is included in the video above.
Mason Greenwood didn’t score for the senior side in October, but he did find the net from an acute angle against Doncaster Rovers in the Leasing.com Trophy. That strike is up for the monthly award and so too is Ethan Galbraith’s bullet of a volley in the same encounter.

Angel Gomes’s skilful finish against Stoke City Under-23s and Aliou Traore’s solo effort in the 4-1 win over Swansea City at the same age level are also in the running.

From our Under-18s, Anthony Elanga added the final touches to an excellent team move against Middlesbrough. Meanwhile, the women's side are represented by Kirsty Hanson and captain Katie Zelem, who both bagged memorable goals last month.

Zelem’s free-kick was also significant as it was our first-ever goal against Manchester City Women, and set us on the way to a maiden derby victory over our local rivals.
