A promising defender who was handed an Under-18 debut while still a schoolboy against Sunderland in October 2015.

Spratt had already been a substitute for Paul McGuinness's side and he also made the bench after Tommy Martin took over coaching duties. By making five appearances in total, the full-back was one of many Under-16s blooded by the Reds but injury curtailed his progress somewhat in 2016/17. Coach Kieran McKenna commented: "He's had injury problems this season and it's been a challenge for him as he's found himself behind Jake Kenyon, who is having a great season, in the pecking order a lot of the time. He has done well in the Under-17 games and also in the friendly in Slovakia so he'll be looking to pick up more experience in 2017." He finished last season with nine Under-18 appearances to his name, two as a starter.
