Experienced keeper signed on loan from Crystal Palace for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
Jack became the youngest stopper to play for the senior England team while still a teenager, when making his debut against Italy in 2012.
He also represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics, as the team's first-choice between the sticks, and was part of the 2018 World Cup squad for the Three Lions.
In terms of his club career, he started out with Birmingham City and soon established a reputation as one of the best young keepers in the league, by the end of the 2012/13 campaign. A couple of loan stints at Cheltenham Town had cut his teeth and a number of clubs showed interest in his services.
A deal was struck with Stoke City where he would remain at St Andrew's, on loan, before similar spells with Barnsley, Leeds United and Derby County, furthering his education all the time. Upon his return to Stoke, he was voted Player of the Season in 2018/19 before being snapped up by Palace a year later.
Following Martin Dubravka's recall to Newcastle United, Erik ten Hag moved for Butland in January 2023.
