Kirsty Smith

A rapid Scotland international who can operate in either full-back position.

Smith signed for United from Hibernian, where she made 139 appearances over the course of seven years with the first team.

Assistant coach Willie Kirk convinced her to make the journey south of the border for our inaugural season and it was a decision Smith would not regret, starting 13 games in the league as we cruised to the title.

Hard-working and versatile, Smith is a match for any opposition winger in the league and was selected in Scotland’s 23-woman squad for France 2019 – the national team’s first-ever appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Smith featured in all three of the Tartan Army's group games at the tournament.
