Vilde Boe Risa made her senior debut for Norway in 2016 and was a key part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the Women’s World Cup in France.
A July 2021 addition to the United squad, the midfielder has spent the majority of her playing career in Norway and Sweden, with spells at Arna-Bjørnar, Göteborg FC and Sandviken respectively in recent years.
She started all five of Norway's games at the 2019 World Cup, before the Scandinavians were eliminated 3-0 in the last eight by England.
A fantastic playmaker with great vision and link-up play, Vilde brings leadership skills from her time in Sweden, along with Champions League experience.
Boe Risa made her United debut against Reading in the 2021/22 Women's Super League opener, getting her first goal against Brighton in December 2021.
