Ole: You will see Donny
TranscriptThe boss has confirmed that van de Beek will feature off the bench against Palace...
Ole, you mentioned yesterday that the players are at different stages of fitness when it comes to training. Does that come in to your thinking when selecting your starting XI? "Yeah, definitely. We've had a few players that have just been back for a short week. Monday was the first day in training. Some of them have had three weeks. The ones who have been training and doing well from the start I felt we had to make those changes. I felt that some of them had to wait a little bit longer before they were ready.” Will we see Donny van de Beek at some point? “Definitely, that’s for sure. One he is a game changer if we need to but also he is eager to go and he has got qualities that we need. Even if the game doesn’t demand a change I reckon you will see him.” And David, the number one? “Today is he is playing. He has played well for Spain during the summer and he has shown really good form in training, and so has Dean (Henderson) to be fair and he played against Villa and didn’t put a foot wrong. I am privileged to have the goalkeeping department I have.”
