Ole's pre-match interview
TranscriptThe boss explains his line-up for the Basaksehir game and reveals why Paul Pogba is absent again...
Ole, it's a really attacking, positive line-up... "Yeah, we want to go out there and domiante the game, of course, create chances. Hopefully we can provide the ball into the box for Edinson, [on] his first start for us. The start of his career here has been positive, but now he deserves the full game, or to start a game." He's looked impressive when he's come off the bench for little cameos, but you feel he's now ready to start? "Yeah, he's getting his fitness. He's played two games for Uruguay as well over the international break, so he'll be flying hopefully. He looks after himself and, of course, we've been step by step [with him], because you don't want players coming in getting an injury. Especially when, at his age, we know his experience is going to be valuable for us." Paul hasn't quite made the squad. Is he still not quite ready? "Yeah, he's still [not ready]. His ankle is swollen up. He trained yesterday but it didn't feel right, and this morning it was just confirmation that he couldn't play." Good luck tonight, thank you.
