Solskjaer: I love the way Cavani moves
"He is one of the best because of his experience and qualities," says the boss, praising Edinson's impact...
Ole, there’s a bit of history there - that’s win in eight consecutive away games. That’s never happened to us and that takes some doing, doesn’t it? Yes, and it’s a difficult league of course, but I think the no crowds away from home has had an impact on that record. We don’t care about that one though, we just care about the three points today. The manner they came from the first kick to the last really, you can see their boys were focused, ready. We played well and created chances, just couldn’t take all, but we got what we deserved. At half-time were you thinking ‘this isn’t over - if we get the next goal’… Yeah, it’s all about getting the next goal and not conceding anymore. We knew there were more goals in the game, it was about just getting the first goal within 20-25 minutes. We know we’re getting fitter and fitter; we can out power team and we have subs who can make an impact. Edinson had a small impact in the game. Just on what he did - you’re a striker, you know all about movement and what he’s doing. How good is he? He is one of the best because of his experience and qualities, that movement. He is one of the best movers you can see. He can peel off the shoulder, he can get in front of you, he can pin you. He wants to be in between the two posts, which I love. I love a centre-forward who gets in there. It might hurt sometimes but, when you’re there and you get the ball there, you've gambled and the ball’s been delivered, it's a goal. Two goals! How’s David? Obviously he had to come off… A knock just above the knee, so hopefully he’ll be ok for Wednesday, but we don’t know. Let’s have a little scan or check tomorrow, but Dean came on and looked very assured. We’ve said it a lot over the months, but there would have been 3,000 fans in there and it would have been an amazing away day, wouldn’t it? What a moment it could have been at the end. But the again, that’s the reality at the moment. We’ve hopefully entertained a few of our fans who were watching in front of the tellies because that was a very good performance. A good Man United tradition as well, of never giving in, coming back in a game. It was a fantastic comeback and to win it at the end was brilliant.
