Lindelof loves our clean-sheet record
TranscriptForwards get the credit after big wins, but our defenders also deserve praise! Victor is delighted by our solidity...
Yet another clean sheet - you must be so happy with the way it is going? "Yeah, we want to score a lot of goals and then of course we want to keep a clean sheet as well, so I’m very happy for that. As a defensive unite today, well as a team, we defended very well. We had a lot of possession, then when we lost the ball we took it back quite quickly so I’ve very, very pleased with the performance today." A very exciting forward line is being supplied by the likes of Paul and Bruno... "We have some really good players up there. I think once again they showed what they can do on the pitch and then when we keep the ball like that they can control the game for us. So it’s quite nice to watch them play football." Bruno looks like he has been here for three or four years, rather than three or four months... "He’s been great ever since he signed. Straightaway he showed his quality and he came in and wanted the ball and created a lot of chances for us. So he’s been brilliant and he can keep improving and keep doing the same things." We are now 15 games unbeaten, so confidence must be high? "Yeah, of course. I think we show it every time we walk on the pitch now what a team we can be and what type of football we can play. Today we controlled the game throughout the 90 minutes. A little bit in the second half they got a few chances, but other than that I think we controlled it perfectly and preformed some really, really good football out there so I’m very, very happy." David showed what he can do again, with a couple of great saves... "It’s very important, you know, when we lose the ball and give them a few easy chances it’s always important for David to be ready and once again he showed what a great goalkeeper he is, so it’s always nice to have him behind us."
