Teddy 'quite shocked' by Ole
Find out what Teddy Sheringham thinks about Ole taking the reins at United...
Teddy Sheringham on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: "How is Ole a manager? He is the nicest man in the world with a lovely family. Why would he want to do that? Be a manager and put himself through that? I was quite shocked that he got the job in the first place, as in I’m talking about him being the nicest man. I feel like you have got to have a certain bit of devilment to be a top manager but what a job he is doing. He’s gone in and changed everyone’s opinion, everybody’s way of thinking, all of the players. He’s just put a smile on their faces and told them what it means to play for Manchester United in very much the same way Sir Alex used to tell us what a privilege it was. And rightly so – to play for such a fantastic football club. He’s put that emphasis on to his players and to realise they are just part of history, passing through, of playing for Manchester United. Enjoy it while you’re here and give it your best shot. Do it with a smile on your face. Let’s go out and show how good we are. He’s changed the whole philosophy of what it’s been in the last three or four years and I can’t say highly enough about what such a great job he’s done since he came in. "
