Your Wembley XI: Strikers

You've had chance to cast your votes on the defensive and midfield positions up for grabs in Sunday's Carling Cup final, now you can vote for the men you want to see up front.

Given he's not been involved in one Carling Cup squad this season, we've opted not to include Dimitar Berbatov in this particular poll leaving Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Danny Welbeck.

Rooney will be itching to play after starting on the bench at the San Siro on Tuesday night. And, since returning from a hamstring strain eight days ago, he's been in fine form, netting twice in two games against Fulham and Blackburn.

Carlos Tevez, meanwhile, will be just as keen to get a run-out on Wembley's hallowed turf especially given his goalscoring run in this season's competition. The Argentine has scored in three of United's five Carling Cup games, including a quadruple in the 5-3 win over Blackburn Rovers back in December.

Sir Alex's other striking option is Danny Welbeck. The 18-year-old, who has featured in all but one of the Carling Cup ties, has found the net three times this season and would be a real handful for Woodgate and co. with his strength and pace.

So, who would you pick up front? Vote now at, and we'll publish the most popular XI on this Friday.
