Entry

1. Manchester United Football Club Limited (“MU”) whose registered office is at Old Trafford, Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester M16 0RA (the “Stadium”) is the promoter of the Suite of Dreams Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”). Marriott International Inc. (“Marriott”) whose registered office is at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814, USA is providing the prize for the Prize Draw. 

2. By entering the Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Conditions”) and confirm that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. MU reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any and all entrants and may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant that fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements set out in these Conditions. Entrants shall at all times act in good faith towards MU and the Prize Draw.

3. Employees of MU or Marriott and/or any of their associated companies or subsidiaries (and their families) are excluded from entering the Prize Draw. The following individuals are also excluded from entering the Prize Draw:

i) any person under the age of 18;
ii) residents of the state of New York, USA; and 
iii) residents of the state of Florida, USA. 

4. Entry into the Prize Draw is free (except for any applicable data usage charges) and on the basis of one entry per person. 

5. In order to enter the Prize Draw and to be considered for the Prize, entrants must complete the relevant data entry fields for the Prize Draw by clicking on the Prize Draw entry link available:

(i) via email; *

(ii) via www.manutd.com;

(iii) on official Manchester United social media accounts; 

(iv) in MU newsletters; or

(v) via any other method of entry which MU makes available.

*If you enter the ballot via a link sent to you in a Manchester United email, please note that this link is exclusive to you. Any further entries made using this link will be invalid and will be excluded from the ballot. The email address you input when submitting your Entry via the link must match the email address to which the Manchester United email was sent.

6. The Prize Draw will close at 23:59 GMT on Thursday 6th April 2023 (the "Closing Date") and any entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable following the Closing Date. 

The Prize

7. Subject to paragraphs 8 through to 16 inclusive the prize will consist of the following and will take place over three days, one of which will be the day of the Premier League game between Manchester United and Aston Villa to be held at the Stadium (the "Match") on 30th April 2023.

(i) Return economy class flights from an international airport or return standard train tickets to Manchester for the Winner and their guest (dates and times of travel to be discussed between the Winner and MU with any final details to be at MU’s sole discretion)

(ii) a one-night stay and breakfast for the Winner and their guest at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel on the 28th April 2023;

(iii) an evening meal (location TBC) for the Winner and their guest on the night of arrival. The value of the meal (including all drinks) shall not exceed £250. Any additional cost shall be borne by the Winner and/or their guest;

(iv) a one-night stay for the Winner and their guest the night before the Match in a bedroom with a king-size bed in the Marriott Hotels Centennial Suite (the “Suite”) at the Stadium (the “Overnight Stay”). Shower facilities are available in the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel following breakfast (transport will be provided to the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel); 

(v) breakfast for the Winner and their guest in the Suite, or at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel following the Overnight Stay. 

(vi) match day hospitality for the Match for the Winner and their guest during the Match in the M Club at Old Trafford; 

(vii) a private dinner meeting for the Winner and their guest with a Manchester United club legend (the identity of the club legend will be at MU’s choice); 

(viii) a one-night stay and breakfast for the Winner and their guest at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel on the 30th April 2023;

(ix) and a £200 voucher for the Manchester United Megastore.

(the “Prize”).

8. The date and time of the Match and the Overnight Stay shall be subject to change. Whilst the Match is expected to take place on 30th April 2023, the dates and times of all of Manchester United matches to be held at the Stadium (and therefore the day before training session) during a football season are subject to alteration including, for reasons outside MU’s control (including as a result of changes to broadcast times and cup games). MU shall notify the Winner as soon as reasonably possible on becoming aware of any changes to the Match date. The prize itinerary for the prize revolves around the Match date and therefore, travel dates may vary accordingly. 

9. The Winner (defined below) shall be entitled to bring one guest to the Prize. The Winner’s guest must be aged 18 years or over at the date of the Match. 

10. Except as otherwise expressly set out above in these Conditions, any ancillary costs and expenses that are not included as part of the Prize (such as subsistence, travel arrangements not set out above, travel documents (i.e., passport and/or visas) and/or travel insurance or such other insurance as the Winner and/or their guest may require) will not be provided by MU and must be borne by the Winner and/or their guest. 

11. The Winner and their guest shall only be permitted to access areas of the Stadium that form part of the Prize and agree not to access any other area of the Stadium.

12. The Winner and their guest will be required to comply with any policies, procedures, terms, conditions, instructions and reasonable requirements of MU which are in place at the Stadium and which apply to the use of the facilities at the Stadium, , the Overnight Stay and attendance at the Match. These include, but are not limited to, Matchday VIP Hospitality ticket Terms and Conditions and the Ground Regulations which are available on request from Ticketing & Membership Services or at www.manutd.com/termsandconditions (as may be updated by MU from time to time). 

13. In order to facilitate the Overnight Stay, there will be MU representatives present (including security personnel) at the Stadium at all times during the Overnight Stay. 

14. MU shall have the right to remove the Winner and/or their guest  (without any liability to the Winner and/or their guest by way of compensation or otherwise) from the Stadium and/or the training ground and not proceed with any further elements of the Prize, if the Winner and/or their guest: (i) act in a way which in MU’s opinion (in its absolute discretion) is unacceptable or likely to cause damage or injury to the Winner and/or their guest or any MU staff member; and/or (ii) if the Winner or their guest fails to comply with the directions of MU and/or any MU staff. 

15. MU reserves the right to substitute the Prize, or any element of the Prize, with another of a similar nature at any time. 

16. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

The Winner

17. The winner will be the first person selected at random from all valid entries received on or before the Closing Date (the “Winner”). 

18. Only the Winner will receive notification from MU. The Winner will be notified by email as soon as practicable after the Closing Date. Following the draw, MU will contact the Winner to make arrangements regarding the Prize. MU may also pass the Winner’s details to its partner, Marriott, so that Marriott may assist with organising the Prize.  

19. The Winner will be required to give their consent to the following: (i) their surname and country to be disclosed to any person requesting that MU confirms the identity of the Winner, or for promotional purposes and; (ii) for the Winner’s details to be passed to Marriott for fulfilment of the Prize. The Winner may raise any concerns regarding this paragraph with MU.

20. MU will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner via email after the Closing Date. If the Winner does not claim their Prize within 10 days  of MU making contact with the Winner or if the Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the Prize, or if the Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found who is able, willing and eligible to accept the Prize.

21. Subject to paragraph 19 above, details of the Winner’s surname and country will be made available to the public upon request from Manchester United Football Club Limited, Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 0RA two weeks after the Closing Date (subject to data protection legislation).

Footage taken during the Prize: 

22. MU and Marriott would like to take video footage and photographs during the running of the Prize. MU and Marriott shall provide the Winner and their guest with an Image Release Form on, or prior to the date of the Prize, for the Winner and their guest to sign. Such Image Release Form shall grant MU & Marriott permission to take video footage, photos and voice recordings of the Winner and their guest during the various elements of the Prize and to use those recordings and photographs for promotional and publicity purposes. Signing the Image Release Form is at the Winner and their guest’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize acceptance. 

General

23. To the extent legally permissible, MU, Marriott, and its associated entities shall have no liability for any loss (including without limitation, indirect losses), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Prize Draw or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude MU’s or Marriott’s liability for: (i) death or personal injury as a result of its negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law.

24. MU shall not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control. Anyone entering this Prize Draw acknowledges and agrees that the timing of fulfilment of the Prize Draw and the Prize will be subject to any ongoing developments in respect of COVID-19 including, and any changes in Legislation, national government guidance and Manchester United policies/procedures in respect of COVID-19. If for any reason the Prize, or any element of the Prize, is not capable of running as planned (including as a result of any reason arising from or in connection with COVID-19 or any cause beyond the control of MU) MU may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize.

25. MU reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Conditions without notice when reasonably necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw. 

26. The Prize Draw, together with these Conditions, is governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.  

27. The invalidity or unenforceability of any term of, or any right arising pursuant to these Conditions shall not in any way affect the remaining terms or rights which shall be construed as if such invalid or unenforceable term or right did not exist.
