Win a Trip to Manchester for the Manchester United v PSG match Prize Draw

Entry

1. Manchester United Football Club Limited (“MU”) (whose registered office is Old Trafford, Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester M16 0RA (the “Stadium”)) is the promoter of the Win a Trip to Manchester for the Manchester United v PSG match prize draw (the “Prize Draw”).

2. By entering the Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Conditions”) and confirm that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. MU reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any and all entrants and may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant that fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements. Entrants shall at all times act in good faith towards MU and the Prize Draw.

3. Employees of MU or any of its associated companies or subsidiaries (and their families) are excluded from entering the Prize Draw.

4. The Prize Draw is open to entrants located in Europe.

5. Entry into the Prize Draw is free (except for any applicable data usage charges) and on the basis of one entry per person.

6. In order to enter the Prize Draw and to be considered for the Prize, entrants must complete the relevant data entry fields: a) through the competition form available at www.manutd.com/; or b) via any other method of entry which MU makes available.

7. The Prize Draw will close at 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 6th February 2019 (the "Closing Date"). Any entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable following the Closing Date.

Prize

8. The prize will consist of the following: a) return travel to Manchester (UK) from an international airport (if applicable) and/or train station in standard or economy class for the Winner and their guest (dates and times for travel to be agreed between MU and the Winner, however in the event the parties cannot agree, MU will make the final decision); b) a one night stay in a 4* hotel (hotel will be chosen by MU) for the Winner and their guest (based on two adults sharing a double or twin room on a room only basis); c) two standard general admission tickets (one for the Winner and one for their guest) to the Manchester United and PSG match taking place at the Stadium on 12th February 2019 (subject to any television rescheduling changes) (“Game”); d) a stadium tour of Old Trafford Stadium (public tour); and e) lunch at the Red Café. (“Prize”).

9. Except as otherwise expressly set out above in these conditions, any ancillary costs and expenses associated with the Prize, such as subsistence, will not be provided by MU and must be borne by the Winner and/or their guest (including, for the avoidance of doubt, travel insurance, any connecting flights and/or any additional travel costs that are not included as part of the Prize).

10. In order to be eligible for the Prize: a) if flights from an international airport are required, the Winner and their chosen guest must hold passports that are valid for entry to the UK; b) the Winner and their guest must have, or must obtain, any visa required for the trip; and c) if the Winner is under the age of 18, they must either: i. be accompanied by their parent or guardian as their nominated guest; or ii. be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 years old or over (who is authorised by the Winner’s parent or guardian) as their nominated guest.

11. If the requirements of paragraph 10 are not met, the Winner cannot be awarded the Prize and a further prize draw may take place in accordance with paragraph 18 below.

12. The Winner and their guest will be required to comply with any policies, procedures, terms, conditions and reasonable requirements of MU which are in place at the Stadium and which apply to the use of the facilities at the Stadium and attendance at the Game (including, but not limited to, the Ground Regulations and Match Ticket Terms and Conditions which are available on request from Ticketing & Membership Services and at www.manutd.com/termsandconditions).

13. MU reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of a similar nature at any time.

14. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

Winner

15. The winner will be the first person selected at random from all valid entries received on or before the Closing Date (the “Winner”). The Winner will receive the Prize.

16. Only the Winner will receive notification from MU. The Winner will be notified by email as soon as practicable after the Closing Date. MU may also pass the Winner’s details to its partner, Melitta, so that Melitta may assist with organising the Prize.

17. The Winner will be required to give their consent to the following: (i) for the Winner’s name to be disclosed to any person requesting that MU confirms the identity of the Winner; (ii) for the Winner’s details to be passed to Melitta; and (iii) for the Winner’s name and/or photograph to be published for promotional purposes, although the Winner may raise any concerns regarding this paragraph 17 with MU.

18. If MU cannot successfully contact the Winner within a reasonable length of time, or if the Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the Prize, or if the Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, or if the Winner does not provide the consent requested at paragraph 17 above, subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found who is able, willing and eligible to accept the Prize and provide the necessary consents. This new winner shall be deemed to be the Winner for the purposes of these Conditions.

19. Subject to paragraphs 17 and 18 above, details of the Winner will be made available to the public upon request from Manchester United Football Club Limited, Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 0RA two weeks after the Closing Date (subject to data protection legislation).

General

20.MU reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Conditions without notice when reasonably necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw.

21. The Prize Draw, together with these Conditions, is governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
