TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Win a Manchester United Experience Prize Draw
Entry
1. Manchester United Football Club Limited (“MU”) (whose registered office is Old Trafford, Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester M16 0RA) is the promoter of the Win a Manchester United Experience Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”). The Prize draw is sponsored by Spectrum Brands (UK) Limited (“Remington”).
2. By entering the Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Conditions”) and confirm that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. MU reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any and all entrants and may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant that fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements. Entrants shall at all times act in good faith towards MU and the Prize Draw.
3. Employees of MU and Remington or any of their associated companies or subsidiaries (and their families) are excluded from entering the Prize Draw.
4. The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are aged 18 and over at the date of entry.
5. In order to enter the Prize Draw and to be considered for the Prize, entrants must complete the relevant fan survey for the Prize Draw made available:
i. via www.manutd.com; or
ii. via any other method of entry which MU makes available.
6. The Prize Draw will close at 23:59 BST on Friday 26 July 2019 (the "Closing Date") and any entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable following the Closing Date.
Prize
7. Subject to paragraphs 8, 9 and 10 the prize will consist of the following (to take place on or during the period beginning 1 August 2019 and ending 31 August 2019, with specific dates and times to be confirmed by MU):
(i) hotel accommodation at a 4* hotel in or around Manchester city centre (UK) (such hotel to be chosen and confirmed by MU) on a bed-and-breakfast basis (the “Hotel”) for two people (the Winner (defined below) and their guest) for three nights based on two adults sharing a double or twin room (the “Hotel”);
(ii) return economy class flights to Manchester Airport (UK) for the Winner and their guest from major international airport to and from Manchester Airport and return private transfers to and from the Manchester Airport to the Hotel;
(iii) the opportunity to observe a training session with MU’s first team at the Aon Training Complex (with return travel to and from the Stadium) (subject to any variation made by MU at its discretion);
(iv) two (standard seating) tickets to watch a match between Manchester United and an opponent (to be confirmed) at the Stadium (the “Match”), the particular stand, seating location and timing of the Match to be at MU’s discretion (and subject to any potential fixture changes);
(v) a private tour of the Stadium for the Winner and their guest;
(vi) £500 spending money (to be transferred to the Winner in a manner to be decided by MU);
(vii) A selection of Remington products for the Winner and their guest;
(the “Prize”).
8. Except as otherwise expressly set out above in these terms and conditions, any ancillary costs and expenses that are not included as part of the Prize (such as subsistence, mini bar expenses, long-distance telephone calls, room service expenses, travel documents (i.e. passport and/or visas) and/or travel insurance or such other insurance as the Winner and/or their guest may require) will not be provided by MU and must be borne by the Winner and/or their guest.
9. The Winner and their guest will be required to comply with any policies, procedures, terms, conditions, instructions and reasonable requirements of MU which are in place at the Stadium and which apply to the use of the facilities at the Stadium and the Aon Training Complex. These include (but are not limited to) the Match Ticket Terms and Conditions which are available at www.manutd.com/termsandconditions, and the Ground Regulations which are available at www.manutd.com/termsandconditions (as may be updated by MU from time to time).
10. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. MU reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any component of it with another of a similar nature at any time.
Winner
11. There will be one winner in total. The winner will be the first person selected at random from all valid entries received on or before the Closing Date (the “Winner”).
12. Only the Winner will receive notification from MU. The Winner will be notified by email as soon as practicable after the Closing Date. Following the draw, MU will contact the Winner to make the relevant arrangements for receipt of the Prize.
13. The Winner will be required to give their consent to the details of their surname and country to be disclosed to any person requesting that MU confirms the identity of the Winner, or for promotional purposes.
14. If MU cannot successfully contact the Winner within a reasonable length of time, or if the Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the Prize, or if the Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, or if the Winner does not provide the consent requested at paragraph 13 above, subsequent draws will take place until a new person is found who is able, willing and eligible to accept the Prize and provide the necessary consents. This new person shall be deemed to be the Winner for the purposes of these Conditions.
15. Subject to paragraphs 13 and 14 above, details of the Winner’s surname and relevant country will be made available to the public upon request from Manchester United Football Club Limited, Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 0RA two weeks after the Closing Date (subject to data protection legislation).
General
16. MU reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Conditions without notice when reasonably necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw.
17. The Prize Draw, together with these Conditions, is governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
