The Premier League has confirmed when the fixtures for the 2023/24 season will be announced.

Always a date for the diaries, the initial list is to be released at 09:00 BST on Thursday 15 June. Of course, the first place to check them out will be on the United App and ManUtd.com.

We already know Burnley and Sheffield United will be among the 20 teams in the top flight, along with one out of the four play-off sides: Coventry City, Luton Town, Middlesbrough or Sunderland.

Anticipation will be high for Erik ten Hag's second campaign in charge of the Reds, particularly on the back of the exciting US tour and any squad developments over the close season.

United still have much to play for this term, bidding to clinch a top-four place and winning the Emirates FA Cup final against Manchester City, 12 days before the fixture list comes out.

Fantasy Premier League players will be keen to know that the provisional launch of the popular game will be in the week commencing 3 July, which is plenty of time before the action gets under way.

The live television selections will obviously impact the original fixture dates and these will be covered at later date, when announced.

The 2023/24 season is due to start around the weekend of 12/13 August.
