Entry

1. Manchester United Football Club Limited (“MU”) (whose registered office is Old Trafford, Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester M16 0RA (the “Stadium”)) is the promoter of TeamViewer’s Your View prize draw (the “Prize Draw”). The Prize Draw is sponsored by TeamViewer Germany GmbH, Bahnhofsplatz 2, 73033 Goeppingen, Germany (“TeamViewer”). 

2. By entering the Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Conditions”) and confirm that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. MU reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any and all entrants and may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant that fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements. Entrants shall at all times act in good faith towards MU, TeamViewer and the Prize Draw.

3. Employees of MU or any of its associated companies or subsidiaries (and their families) and Employees of TeamViewer (and their families) are excluded from entering the Prize Draw.

4. The Prize Draw is open to entrants aged 18 and over . The person nominated as Mascot for the match between Manchester United Women and Aston Villa Women on Saturday 3rd December 2022 (the “Match”) must be between the ages of 7 and 13 on the date of the Match (the “Age Requirements”). The prize draw is open to persons resident in the United Kingdom only.

5. Entry into the Prize Draw is free (except for any applicable data usage charges) and on the basis of one entry per person. 

6. In order to enter the Prize Draw and to be considered for the Prize, entrants must complete the relevant data entry fields for the Prize Draw: 

(i) Via [www.manutd.com]; 

(ii) on the official Manchester United accounts on the following social media platforms: (a) Facebook; (b) Twitter; (c) Instagram; or

(iii) via any other method of entry which MU makes available.

* If you enter this Prize Draw via a link sent to you in a Manchester United email, please note that this link is exclusive to you. Any further entries made using this link will be invalid and will be excluded from the Prize Draw. The email address you input when entering the Prize Draw via the link must match the email address to which the Manchester United email was sent.

The Prize Draw will close at 23:59 GMT on 20 November 2022 (the "Closing Date") and any entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable following the Closing Date. 

Prize

7. Subject to paragraph 8 through to 15 inclusive, the prize will consist of:

(i) the opportunity for a person (who meets the Mascot Requirements) nominated by a Winner (as defined below) to be an official mascot at the Match (each a “Mascot” and together the “Mascots”); and

(ii) Two general admission tickets (one for the Winner and one for their nominated Mascot) to the Manchester United Women vs Aston Villa Women game being held at Old Trafford Stadium (the “Stadium”) on Saturday 3 December 2022;

(iii) standard return train tickets to Manchester for the Winner and their nominated Mascot (dates and times of travel to be discussed between the Winner and MU with any final details to be at MU’s sole discretion); 

(iv) hotel accommodation at a 4 star hotel in or around Manchester city centre (UK) (such hotel to be chosen and confirmed by MU) on a bed-and-breakfast basis (the “Hotel”) for two people (the Winner (defined below) and their nominated Mascot). The Hotel accommodation will be for one night only (based on guest preference the stay must be used either on the evening before or evening of the Prize match); and 

(v) Two Manchester United season 2022/23 home shirts (one for the Winner and one for their nominated Mascot);

8. The nominated Mascot must have the express prior permission of their parent or guardian to attend the Match.  A parent or guardian of the nominated Mascot must attend the Match.  If the requirements of this paragraph 8 are not met, the person nominated cannot be the nominated Mascot and a further prize draw may take place in accordance with paragraph 19 below.

9. Except as otherwise expressly set out above in these terms and conditions, any ancillary costs and expenses that are not included as part of the Prize (such as additional travel expenses, subsistence, mini bar expenses, long-distance telephone calls, room service expenses, travel documents (i.e. passport and/or visas), any documentation required in respect of COVID guidelines/regulations and/or travel insurance or such other insurance as the Winner and/or their guest may require) will not be provided by MU or TeamViewer and must be borne by the Winner and/or their guest. 

10. For the avoidance of doubt to the extent the winner must quarantine and/or extend their stay as a result of contracting Covid-19 during the trip/any applicable Covid -19 Law regulation or guidance, MU or TeamViewer will not cover any additional costs related to accommodation, additional travel expenses, subsistence, mini bar expenses, long-distance telephone calls and/or room service expenses.

11. The date and time of the Match may be subject to alteration, MU will contact the Winner if the Match is rearranged.

12. The nominated Mascot’s role at the Match will be at MU’s absolute discretion.  [MU gives no guarantee as to which football team or football player a nominated Mascot may be assigned to at the Match.  MU will not enter into any correspondence as to which football team or football player a nominated Mascot may be assigned to at the Match]

13. The Winner and the nominated Mascot will be required to comply with any policies, procedures, terms, conditions and reasonable requirements of MU which apply to use of the facilities at Old Trafford and/or attendance at the Match.     

14. MU reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of a similar nature at any time. 

15. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. For the avoidance of doubt should the Winner or nominated Mascot be unable to attend their Prize (specifically parts (i) – (iv)) for whatever reason beyond the cause or control of MU or TeamViewer, MU and/or TeamViewer will not be obligated to re-arrange or substitute those elements of the Prize. 

Winner

16. There will be 4 winners and each winner will receive the Prize. The winners will be the first four individuals selected at random from all valid entries received on or before the Closing Date (each a “Winner”).

17. Only the Winner will receive notification from MU. The Winner will be notified by email as soon as practicable after the Closing Date. Following the draw, the Prize will be communicated to the Winner. MU may also pass the Winner’s details to its partner, TeamViewer, so that TeamViewer may assist with organising the Prize.

18. The Winner will be required to give their consent to the following: (i) for the Winner’s name to be disclosed to any person requesting that MU confirms the identity of the Winner; (ii) for the Winner’s name and/or photograph to be published for promotional purposes; and (iii) for the Winner’s details to be passed to TeamViewer and/or their agent for fulfilment of the Prize. The Winner may raise any concerns regarding this paragraph with MU.

19. MU will seek permission from the parent or guardian of the nominated Mascot to give their consent to the following: (i) for the nominated Mascot’s name to be disclosed to any person requesting that MU confirms the identity of the nominated Mascot; and (ii) for the nominated Mascot’s name and/or photograph to be published for promotional purposes.

20. If MU cannot successfully contact the Winner within a reasonable length of time, or if the Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the Prize, or if the Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, or if the Winner does not provide the consent requested at paragraph 18 above, or if the requirements set out at paragraph 8 above are not met, subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found who is able, willing and eligible to accept the Prize and provide the necessary consents and requirements. This new winner shall be deemed to be the Winner for the purposes of these Conditions.

21. For the avoidance of doubt should the Winner fail to nominate a Mascot within a reasonable length of time, or if the nominated Mascot does not meet the eligibility requirements of paragraphs 4, 8 and 19, subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found who is able, willing and eligible to accept the Prize and provide the necessary consents and requirements. This new winner shall be deemed to be the Winner for the purposes of these Conditions.

22. Subject to paragraphs 18 and 20 above, details of the Winner will be made available to the public upon request from Manchester United Football Club Limited, Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester M16 0RA two weeks after the Closing Date (subject to data protection legislation).

Footage taken during the Prize: 

22. MU and TeamViewer would like to take video footage and photographs during the running of the Prize. MU and TeamViewer shall provide the Winner and their nominated Mascot with an Image Release Form on, or prior to the date of the Prize, for the Winner and their nominated Mascot to sign. Such Image Release Form shall grant MU and TeamViewer permission to take video footage, photos and voice recordings of the Winner and their nominated Mascot during the various elements of the Prize and to use those recordings and photographs for promotional and publicity purposes. Signing the Image Release Form is at the Winner and their nominated Mascot's discretion and is not a condition of Prize acceptance. 

General

23. MU reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Conditions without notice when reasonably necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw. 

24. The Prize Draw, together with these Conditions, is governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
