Manchester United has expanded its offering for fans of all faiths on matchday by introducing a new multi-faith room at Old Trafford on the stadium footprint.

United is committed to ensuring all supporters feel welcome and has worked closely with the Fans’ Forum and Muslim Supporters’ Club on plans for the space, which will supplement existing quiet rooms in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, Sir Bobby Charlton Stand and accessible seating areas.

The new multi-faith room is situated in W2 car park behind the Stretford End and will be in available to supporters for the first time at the Leicester FA Cup home game, taking place on Friday 7 February.

The space can accommodate up to 20 fans at any given time and will be open to supporters to enter 30 minutes before kick-off, throughout the game and for 30 minutes after the final whistle.

Our Muslim Supporters’ Club has provided prayer mats for the multi-faith room and the club is continuing to work with fans and supporter groups around additional ways to make the space as welcoming as possible.
