Manchester United youngster Aidan Barlow has signed a first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old has impressed at Under-18 and UEFA Youth League level this term, and is always a goal threat in an attacking midfield role. Indeed, he scored for the Reds in the FA Youth Cup contest at Derby County recently with a neat header.

The local lad spoke to ManUtd.com in the summer about his aims for the campaign and will be pleased with his continued progress through the ranks.

Barlow, who turns 18 next month, follows in the footsteps of fellow England Under-17 international Angel Gomes in agreeing terms before the turn of the year.
