Antony: Let’s go for more!
New signing Antony made the perfect start to his Manchester United career on Sunday with a debut goal in our 3-1 win over Arsenal.
The 22-year-old forward completed his move to United from Ajax on Thursday’s deadline day and celebrated being named in the starting XI for the weekend’s victory over the Gunners with a goal on his debut.
Antony opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a neat side-footed finish and looked lively on his Reds bow, an effort appreciated by the Old Trafford faithful, as he received a standing ovation upon his 58th-minute substitution.
With the Reds going on to claim all three points against the Premier League leaders, it’s a day that the winger says he will never forget.
The Brazilian reflected on the experience as a whole via his official social media, with a post that he started by saying: “What an incredible day!
