Watch ex-United winger Bebe bag a worldie at AFCON
Take a bow, Bebe.
The former Manchester United winger scored a worldie in the Africa Cup of Nations on Friday afternoon, as he starred for Cape Verde in their comprehensive 3-0 win over Mozambique.
The 33-year-old's phenomenal 40-yard free-kick swiftly went viral and had United supporters thinking of similar efforts such as Cristiano Ronaldo's stunning set-piece strike at Arsenal's expense in the 2009 Champions League semi-final.
In both cases, it could be argued - to use an old commentary cliche - "the goalkeeper will feel he could have done better there" but let that take nothing away from the velocity and accuracy of the goals.
Watch them below and judge for yourself...

Bebe's amazing opener in the first half at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium was followed up by goals from Ryan Mendes and Kevin Pina in the second period, with Cape Verde becoming the first country to qualify for AFCON's last 16.
They are currently four points clear of Egypt, who were held in their first and second fixtures and lost Liverpool forward Mo Salah to injury during their latest draw, 2-2 with Ghana.
United have two current players involved in the tournament of course, with Sofyan Amrabat helping Morocco to get off to a winning start, 3-0 over Tanzania, and Andre Onana starting Cameroon's second game against Senegal.

BEBE'S UNITED STORY
Signed from Portuguese club Vitoria de Guimaraes in August 2010, Bebe made his debut the following month, as Sir Alex Ferguson's men won 5-2 away to Scunthorpe United in the League Cup.
The first of his two goals was our opener in the next round, when the Reds defeated Wolves 3-2 at Old Trafford. His other strike for the club came in the Champions League during that same 2010/11 season, rounding off a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bursaspor.

Bebe has since played for three teams in Spain - Eibar, Real Zaragoza and his current club Rayo Vallecano, for whom he netted another remarkable free-kick in their 2022 Copa del Rey semi-final defeat to Real Betis.
